Just a friendly reminder to check your UPT balance REGULARLY. I noticed yesterday that a few hours had been deducted from my UPT on Saturday. I had no call outs and worked all my scheduled shifts, so there's absolutely no reason for this deduction. When I brought this to my leadership's attention, they couldn't figure out why the time was deducted.
If they are red and in the negative they usually terminate. If not bring it to HR explaining your UPT isn't negative, and ask as to why termination in the talks. You can use minutes of this one. And any time you cover you will get paid. Vacation-you get 40 for the first year. Then 80 for the years after.
