From what I have learned, H-K failed to seal these units and as a consequence moisture accumulates in the unit - you can see where this moisture is accumulating on the back side of the screen.

Once the radio came on by itself. Voice command does not work. It always is fixed when I restart the car. This is hard to do when driving on the Interstate.Long shot, but it will just cost a bit of your time. Take a look at the link below, do steps [1] thru [4], which is a system reset.
