Don't forget that all of the poop adds a nice substrate. 1 crayfish in that tank completely full w even just a sponge filter would b fine. so annoying. hell if they even just filled the tank all the way it would be so much better!! my crayfish is leaving his alone. even if they do rip it up, you can just replace the sponge.
