Admin fees in forex are not "industry standard". Oanda is literally the only broker adding random charges into the swap rates. Swap rates are not even supposed to be fees they are interest charges and depending on rates it should be possible to profit from holding long term.

Oanda is fine. I've used them quite a bit over the years and they've always been fair about customer service issues. Not trading with them now because their spreads are a bit less competitive these days compared to other options. There’s also the library of community tools for you to use. TradingView works on mobile. You can post and read other’s trade ideas. You can chart comparisons to instruments not related to currencies. TradingView actually gets updated where Oanda does not. Anyone who has tried it wouldn’t be asking this question.

Oanda's platform is java based or something and a waste of time. However both brokers let you use MT4 also, and you'll probably want to jump around to lots of different brokers if you get serious and so it's a good idea to learn metatrader4 early since pretty much everyone offers it. There's no other difference in their demo accounts. Avoid Hankotrade at all cost. I opened a demo account on Hankotrade yesterday and today I noticed manipulated MT4 chart in the 1 minute timeframe.
