Then you consider the riser length of the Mathews (33.5" vs. 31" from the Hoyt) and the weight (4.25 lbs. vs. 4.5 lbs. from the Hoyt) and the reflex (1.5" on the Mathews vs. 1.75" on the Hoyt)... Yeah - the draw on my Hoyt is smoother but this just feels better (albeit heavier) in the hand. Additionally, it just shoots sooooo much better. For example; My Hoyt w/ G5 are off by like 4-5 inches, yet the Mathews, out of the box (mostly), shoots the G5 just like the Field Points.

Honestly i think that as an overall line all 3 companies are lacking a little bit. i shot all the flagship bows yesterday. shot over a 100 arrows. for me the best is the inline 5. i have a 30.5 inch draw at 70. any bow under 33 inch ata feels like a toy to me. my top three were prime inline 5, mathews v3x 33 and the bowtech xl. all felt great but prime was the closest feel to the RX7. the ventum pro was really top heavy.
