If you press the button again, with your foot off the brake, it goes into the On mode, which is just like if you had a key and turned it all the way on but without going to Start. We've found the root cause to be an incorrectly adjusted shift cable. To fix this issue, adjust the cable according to the service information. If that works, you're good to go.
