No, I'm saying that the 20 gauge Auto-5 debuted in 1958. There was a Remington, "American Browning" in that gauge made during the war, but I don't think you have one of those. The date on these is very easy to determine. There's a prefix to the serial number consisting of single digit (1958-1967) for the year, and a Z model code.
