Crystal armour doesnt need a defensive value buffs, but it could act as a proselyte armour for ranged. Give it prayer bonuses comparable to Other BIS prayer. They both have the same attack range, although bowfa hits faster (4t vs 5t), tbow is better against all the important monsters (jads, zuk, mages). Crystal bow is also good in fight caves. The armor set is what makes it out DPS your rune cbow, should also be more accurate. Bowfa is of course the long term goal there though.
