ALL 1D7 jobs are what you make of them as functionally, your duties really depend on your office and unit. Take time to immerse yourself in the job and excel at it and you may find you love it. I came in as a 3D0X1 (now 1D7X1K) and was hoping for medical. But I found I had a real knack for web design and UX management.

If y’all aren’t interested to do any sort of Cyber/IT after the Air Force i could see that. But people who are in an unrelated field, such as mx, and are interested in doing cyber/IT then those jobs are a perfect way to gain experience into the career field. Which from what I’ve heard is very hard to get entry level jobs with no experience.
