I'm done with powerful revolver cartridges if I can get something close in semi auto. Semi autos are lighter, lighter recoiling, carry more rounds and carry eaiser than revolvers.Yeah, .357 mag is more powerful, but 10MM is a lot more capacity. A 10mm hardcast out of 5"+ barrel is adequate stopping power for a black bear. I've dropped two with 10mm. I don't shoot a ton with a revolver but I personally would feel more confident with follow up shots with an autoloader.
