I've notice a little slipping if I was to gas it mostly in the high gears.The quick way to test the stator is to take a multimeter, and set it to OHMS (resistance); on the stator plug with the 3 yellow wires, touch the red meter probe to one of the wires, and the black to ANY of the other yellow stator wires. There should be a resistance of about .3 to .6 ohms.I have a 220 and it takes 2 1/2 qts. when changing the oil and filter to bring it up to the middle of the sight glass. The manual says 2.2 qts. So, I just changed the oil and filter in the new to me 1999 220. I put slightly over 2 qts of oil in it, and when off, the oil level in the window is half way between the marks. But when the motor is running, the level of oil is right at the bottom line. Might wanna be sure about the year! The biggest thing that turned me off about the 05 Zuk I looked at, was the gas tank is only about 3 gal, I believe. The big Kaw's have about a 5.3 gal tank, about 75-100 mi difference per tank.
