There's nothing to reset. If you rotate the tires, the car doesn't know the new tire positions. So you do the TPMS Relearn/Reset to tell the car which sensor is on which side. The DTS came out in 2006. But In 2008, the US Government required every new car to come with TPMS. So the "Optional TPMS" section was just leftover text from the 2006 manual.
