To troubleshoot if the batteries in your Sentry T0-331 safe are not working, follow these steps: 1. Remove the keypad cover by rotating it counterclockwise and pulling it towards you. 2. Unlock the safe door using the override key provided in the plastic bag attached to the owner's manual. Open the door using the lever handle. 3.
Replace battery compartment. This safe has a Battery Auxiliary Override. If battery is low and unable to operate open, use Battery Auxiliary Override. This should not be used as a primary means of gaining entry into safe. Open the silicone cap found on the side of the electronic lock. Insert a 9 volt battery into slot. To replace the battery, first remove the battery cover. Then tUrn the electronic lock case to the right (clockwise), from 12 o’clock to 2 o’clock, and remove. Replace with 4 new AA batteries.
