E50 has basically has the same rating on the anti knock index as e85. It's like .1 octane difference between e50 and e85. Its not octane as much as cylinder cooling with additional fuel that make the higher percentages slightly beneficial. Theres a higher percentage of fuel at like AFR with higher percentages.

No complaints with TSI product, or service, but the two TSI's I used did need to come out, and go back for reflashes when purchased new. The pro torque was perfect right out of the box.
