This is a pretty good air compressor. It is Masterforce's Ultra Quiet line, but it is still loud. Its like comparing a metal concert to a loud car. Much quieter, but still is loud. This should be in 65 to 70 decibel range. I read your comment and this is perfectly fine. I do what you want with a 6 gallon air compressor.
