You have to enlarge the wiper arm post holes and use YJ wiper arm/blades and the YJ wiper arm linkage. The windshield on the 76-up is narrower at the top than the 75-down. You can use a top for either the early or late cj buy switching windshields. 75-down have a toolbox under the passenger seat. Holds an amazing amount of stuff. The frame is completely different from 75/76, therefore so are the body mounts.Think about it this way. From the side of your bulkhead connector closest to the motor, focus on your heavy gauge wires. 12 and 10 gauge wires. Since your XJ is a 2001, it won't have plug wires or a distributor but instead has a coil pack ignition. I have only lukewarm heat from the vents. The engine temp used to run at a hair below 210. It has always ran at this temp since I got it with 40,000 miles on it.

Fuel pressure should be 49 psi +/- 5 psi at idle. If engine runs but pressure is below 44psi , check for a kinked fuel supply line somewhere between fuel rail and fuel pump module. If line is not kinked, replace fuel pump module assembly. If operating pressure is above 54psi , electric fuel pump is OK, but fuel pressure regulator is defective.

The codes it pulled from that were P0300 multiple misfire and P0152 Bank 2 position 1 O2 sensor high voltage. I added some displays to the Torque app to look at my O2 voltages and found this - O2 bank 2 position 2 is at 0.0V and bank 1 is at 1.3V. Just did this yesterday on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L because my reverse lights weren't working. The 3 wire plug comes off easily if you find the tab, depress it with a screwdriver and gently lever the plug off. You need a 1" deep socket set to remove the neutral safety switch.

Feb 12, 2009 · The Jeep has a 32/36 weber on it and everything else is completely stock all the way back to what looks like the original exhaust. Jeep has 206k on the clock so a lot has got to go. Here is what I've done so far. Replaced: cap & rotor, plugs, wires, thermostat, heater core, blower (from blazer), valve cover gasket, and the catalytic convertor. ALL 4.0 engines use the same belt. If the vehicle was an "AC delete", an idler pulley was put in place of the compressor. And-----there is NO WAY to "reroute" a shorter belt to bypass the need for the idler pulley. This topic comes up about every 2 months, and the answer is always the same---get a new/used compressor, or get a AC delete idler.Your dash-mounted headlight switch will have to go, if you want to use the column-mounted switch. 5. Ditto for the floor-mounted high/low beam switch; you will be much happier with the stalk-mounted high beam switch. 6. Your easiest solution at this point is to cut away the offending area on the skid plate with torches, sawzall, cutting wheel, etc. around where the transfer case is contacting the skid plate. A better choice would have been Currie's HD steering kit which maintains the factory inverted-Y steering geometry.
