Hello. I'm tired of getting my disk space lowered by 1 GB updates for maps I don't even play. I'd like to be sure how to, specifically for this game, totally uninstall custom maps. Now, I actually went digging through the files and I think I found something, but I want to be sure I'm not deleting anything important. So, firstly, I unsubscribed from every map Workshop … I am not sure anyone has that ability. Maybe someone will one day, but until then. If you were allowed to use mods while ranking up, then wall buy wonder weapon, fast xp, start with a million points, etc. type maps would be the only custom content on the workshop. Treyarch decided to allow total mod freedom at the cost of not being able to access your progress, which is fine imo.
