I think the movie Megamind in general is very mature in the way it deals with toxic relationships. For example, Roxanne is angry at Megamind for using another guy's appearance to seduce her. She calls him on his bullshit, doesn't excuse his behavior (love doesn't excuse manipulative behavior) and Megamind comes to regret it. It's just perfect.
