He was born on March 28, 1938 in Martinsville, Virginia to Charles and Mildred Perdue, who, as well as his brother Charles, Jr., proceed him in passing.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Walter and Thelma; brothers, Roy LaMar and Dennis LaMar. Visitation is 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Costin Funeral Chapel.
