Hi i had a sweep on Wednesday, cervix was about 1cm and this morning i've totally lost my plug. Am due to have another sweep later this morning when midwife calls round. Have started with cramps and backache since losing the plug so am hoping something is happening now as i'm 6 days over!!The mucus from the cervical canal is very thick and jelly-like, unlike the mucus from your nasal passages.
