Every thing I can find says to use the middle mounting position and get the bushing set available from Shoup or Needham. To install the bushing kit means drilling out the mounting holes in the new boot (a high carbon/cast type of iron) to 5/8". I'm looking for a used grain drill to plant my 7-acre hayfield. The recommended mixes for the North Valley are: Horse mix: 44% orchardgrass, 28% annual rye, 28% perennial rye. I'd offer the following suggestions: A 10 foot one is well suited to a 4020. We owned one from 1990 till 2013.
