Clean the elbow. Apply Loctite to the threads of the R39075 seat and install the check valve assembly into the elbow. Then reinstall the elbow on the tractor. The original service info says the parts are: R39075 seat, D2361R ball, R39078 spring, and R39076 guide. Feb 14, 2021. #1. Directly behind the oil pressure gauge is a small hole in the governor housing. Oil will go through that hole and run down a trough to the oil tube. Remove the oil pressure gauge and take a small stiff piece of wire and you can unclog the hole. I had the same issue with a 37 A. It takes some. patience but it can be done. Its just the poor quality of the batteries mounted under the deck, along with the fact the 24v system is h^ll on batteries and starters. But the 4020, 4230, etc. use large-frame starters the larger starter-solenoid can sometimes draw - or surge close to 20 amps. When hooked directly to a standard ignition switch or push-button - that gets a little worn - it can cause a problem. Using the extra relay in-between takes the load off the ignition switch.

Then I bleed the brakes. Now the brakes are totally locked up. The tractor won't move. But if I open the bleed screws, it will move. You can do this behind the dash by taking off the hood cowl (I think that's what it's called). It has a threaded end so it can be shortened. It's also why Deere special ordered those pumps with an easily adjustable advance screw. 4020 is supposed to get a timing advance up around 16 engines degrees.
