The easiest thing to do seems to be to replace the ashtray with another switch bezel complete with 12v power outlet. I'd need a part number on the bezel itself if anybody has it. Here's a custom made 6 switch panel with 2 outlets but they want $180 for it.

The Nutter bypass actually gets rid of about 75% of the wiring under the hood and several sensors not used. Biggest advantage is the elimination of 23+ years of old wires and sensors that may or may not be working correctly. The only way would be to check each circuit seperately and measure it against the factory tolerances.

Seeing that I have a 1987 YJ and have been modifying it with older specs; I decided to do the dash conversion.
