I turn the key in the ignition and it will not start. No sound, nothing. However, the lights, etc work. I then turn the key off and try again and this time the car starts. Sometimes it takes 5-6 tries before the car starts, but, it always starts.

Last month my car didn't start one night, so I assumed it was a bad battery. I grabbed my portable jumper, and accidentally reversed polarity.
