However after searching the internet for answers, I read that the x compact slide is 7 inches and the subcompact slide is 6.63 inches.

The P320 is wider and heavier. That helps the P320 shoot better in my opinion but it is harder to conceal. Not hard to conceal but harder than my P365. I have a Hellcat Pro which is about the same size as the P365 XL. If I were to get only 1 I'd get the size of the P365 X or XL. Probably the XL. The P320 came in hard, fast, and mean. The slide extends about a half-inch in front of the grip, but I like the look of it. Having said that I believe the 320RX variants are being discontinued in favor of the X line.
