Even with 5*-Star it ranges from 3,5 to 5*. Thats important cos it decides the enemy teams MMR. That means there is a range in 5* of 1,5 up/down. My experience is to change SBMM sometimes. Especially when u have 4,5 as Solo-Team-MMR and ur buddies are also around 5*. So turn it off when 4,5 Solo-Team-MMR and on if 3,5.

So in short, no. The MMR system is NOT an accurate to the community as a wholes actual skill level. Simply because most players cheese the games insane ability to make camping near on unbeatable to boost their K/D and MMR to levels they shouldn't be anywhere near.
