Builder is more relaxed and focused on exploring and building. Less zombies, more loot, and you can hit more than one zombie at a time. Survivor is classic survival mode. Standard zombies, normal loot, and can only hit one zombie at a time. Apocalypse, I haven't played as much of, but it's harder survival mode.Characters with this trait are immune to all states of panic. Veterans also start with 2 levels in Aiming and Reloading (with +100% XP bonuses to both as well), so those skill combined with the Desensitized trait means you can start using firearms effectively much earlier than with other builds. Fast learner with occupation's built-in exp boost makes car work much less grindy. The +1 short blunt is very nice for early game. Hammers are plentiful, and durable.

For the positive traits what I think is essential: -strong or stout, -6 or -10 points. -athletic or fit, -6 or -10. - lucky, -4, to get better loot, axes, weapons etc. imo a must have. - fast learner -6, to level up axe and all the other skills faster.

I would just make a simple one with little to no negative traits except for the very underweight trait. There's enough food around to lose that trait in a couple of days so its almost just free points. Also take lucky. High str and fit, high nimble. All the other things you can grind.
