It is designed that way for some reason, so once your engine miss was corrected the stabilitrak system was turned back on by the car's computer. The reduced power should set a code, get it scanned for that and correct whatever it calls for. I have a 2013 traverse with same issue....50k on it. Following the outcome here .. have had all of the issues you are seeing (2011 GMC Acadia SLT). Remote start died a long time ago, Stabilitrak warning periodically, most recently popping sounds from radio, loss of radio sounds, internal sounds lost (blinker etc). Appreciate your post

Any split second loss of communication between the ECM and PCM will trigger the Traction Control Off/Service Stabilitrak.
