Help me pick a build [dual wielding] I have a hard time making up my mind regarding the build I want to play (I'm a chronic restarter when it comes to games like this). I've narrowed it down to a few options (I was going to pick a Fiend Warlock 2 Lore Bard ...A hand crossbow hit, for example, can deal: 1d6+2 (enhancement)+5 (Dex)+10 (Sharpshooter)+2 (caustic band)+2 (gloves of archery). All the modifiers would be the same for a 2h bow, but you get like, say 1d10+1d4 instead of 1d6. That difference of 5-6 extra per hit won't compare to an entire 4th attack. 5. At level 4 pick Sharpshooter as your Feat and toggle the passive on. At level 6 subclass by selecting Rogue leaving Ranger at level 5. At level 8 ( Rogue level 3) take the Assassin subclass. At level 9 ( Rogue level 4) get another feat. You can select whatever you like. This makes all 1-handed and all melee based dual-wield builds pale in comparrison, even with sneak attack. Warlocks get imo the best cantrip with EB and a lot of ways to boost it. If you're using dual-wield hand crossbows on Astarion with sharpshooter, your sneak attack and 2 bonus actions from Thief can compete.Unless you are willing to put 6 levels into Bard to have inspiration reset on short rests, it's not worth considering unless you have a long rest heavy party altogether. 4 levels in assasin and 3 in fighter is an obvious choice. If you are going crit assasin build, champion is a no-brainer. If you are going more utility, BM has a bit more to offer.

I don't think the 10 bard/1 Sorc/1 Cleric build is worth it, you need to have a really could reason to lose out on 2 Bard levels (and your 6th level spell), for Warlock you get the Eldritch Blast upgrades, which can make it worth it for a Lore Bard (I wouldn't recommend it for a Swords Bard, though).
