That super soul is the key to the entire build. It boosts kaioken and makes the stamina drain incredibly manageable. It also boosts ki regen (which is why having ki in this build is pointless) Here are some numbers. These are damage amounts from a basic light combo. Default human state - 3589 dmg. Kaioken - 3676.

The damage increases and lower stamina on vanishes is not worth it. Let's assume we're using a super 10 times, once before 30s and 9 times after. Let's also assume it's a 2000 damage super, so a L boost makes it 2300 and a XL boost makes it 2400. L boost: 10 x 2300 = 23,000. XL boost: 9 x 2400 + 2000 = 23,600.
