Thaumaturge has a ton of great class feats too. I think this build works best in the rare campaign where you start at a fairly high level. You reduce the burden on ability scores and class feat tax substantially by either just picking up the Sentinel Dedication for a STR build, or using a DEX build and grabbing the Magus Dedicate + Raise a Tome.So getting one of those from my background is always a plus.
