It seems like the beta key for makemkv does not automatically work now. I tried some help from another topic here from two days ago, and resetting my date to may 30th worked. The concerning thing is that in a 13 year old thread, an admin said that this was the free beta key and that it would expire may 2023.

But in Windows, if you open MakeMKV and then open a disc with the drive that's Libre supported, it'll download the requisite support and should show as Libre enabled from then on. The key is you first have to open a disc at least once for the requisite code to download. saarg.
