The Panhellenic Community is comprised of twenty-two sorority chapters on the Indiana University campus. Each chapter works together with the Panhellenic Association Executive Council to create a positive and enriching experience for their members, as well as to contribute to the IU and Bloomington communities.Join a sorority or fraternity. Nearly 25 percent of IU undergraduates are members of Greek-letter organizations, and there are more than 65 to choose from. Joining a sorority or fraternity is a great way to get involved in the community, develop leadership skills, and make a difference through philanthropic efforts.The Beta Alpha chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was established at Indiana University in 1926. Nationally, Alpha Delta Pi is ranked in the top ten for the most active members. In recent years, Beta Alpha has achieved the highest GPA on campus in the Panhellenic and Greek community and won the Panhellenic Chapter of Excellence in 2021.The Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life (OSFL) at Indiana University will be assessing a Greek Fee to individual members of all officially recognized Greek organizations on campus regardless of council affiliation. This fee will be charged to individual students’ Bursar accounts based on sorority and fraternity membership.
