1. Find a good running motor trans and primary. (The whole motor) 2. I had to cut down the rear motor mounts by 1/8"each. Or if you have the ones from the 96" bike swap them. Fronts worked with no mods. 3. Swap plugs on the stator and transmission. From 96 to 88. I cut them off used crimps and shrink tubing. 4.Get a 06-12 transmission bracket.
