65 ford 5000 steering problems. This tractor has power assist steering. It turns left fine. Very hard to turn to the right. It blew a hose so I replaced with new hoses. Had cylinder rebuilt and control valve although I feel the guy was somewhat unsure about the control valve. Turns fine with the two front tires off the ground.Quite often when there is a problem with the neutral switch the pigtail gets unplugged and the harness connector gets a "jumper" made from whatever is available. 1980 Ford 6600 - Couple of problems. New to the forum, so hopefully this is in the right place. First problem. Ford 6600 leaks hydraulic fluid at the base of the steering column/plate. I read somewhere that this is a common problem and resolved with an O-ring.
