Some folks like these for Wild Bunch, because the extra weight helps keep the muzzle down. I don't care for it, so here it is! Be advised that some modification to the barrel may be needed to make it fit.Most of the long barreled guns had a "FULL" or a "MOD" choke. All original 20-inch barrels were "CYL". The next item to inspect is the placement of the front bead sight. IAC went through a lot of trouble to get the 97 right. I remember reading that they sent an well known 1897 expert to the the Norinco factory in China. If you have the riot version it should be easy to convert it to a trench. All you need is the heat shield/bayonet lug, that's the hard part. The repop has been discontinued for a while.
