Nov 13, 2012 · I was at 55 MPH when all of a sudden my check engine light and traction control light came on. My 4LO and VSC light started flashing. I thought my truck was going to go into 4 LO. I pulled off to the side of the road and managed to get off the highway. I put the truck into 4HI and had no problems. The next morning all kinds of lights were on and/or flashing - VSC, 4 Hi, 4 Lo, ALSD, Check Engine - and key on/key off did nothing to help the whole day, though it seemed to drive just fine. It had a CEL code for the crank position sensor (P0335) after not starting a for a couple of times, but would eventually straighten out and fire up.To resolve this I have been turning the car off, switching to 4Lo on the switch, shifting to nuetral and starting the car.
